Early Life

Andrew Tate, by his real name Emory Andrew Tate III, was born on December 1986, in Chicago, Illinois. His late father, Emory Tate II, was an internationally known chess master and an African American. His mother was a white British woman by the name of Eileen. Andrew has two siblings, including a younger brother Tristan, who is also a social media celebrity.

Before Emory and Eileen divorced, they lived in Illinois and Indiana. Eileen took the children after their divorce and moved to England.

Fighting Career

When he was 19 years old, Andrew started his kickboxing career, kickboxing professionally as a cruiserweight in Luton, England, his mother’s hometown. The International Sport Kickboxing Association (ISKA) ranked Tate one of the best 10 kickboxers in Britain by the end of 2008.

Andrew Tate then won the IKF British Cruiserweight Championship and the ISKA English Full-Contact Cruiserweight Championship in 2009.
