Bush’s Chicken is a fast-food restaurant chain specialized in serving fried chicken. They even have been voted as “The Best Chicken” by local publications and have been the customers’ favorites for more than twenty years. The headquarter of the company is in Waco, Texas and they have more than 35 locations all over the West, South, North, and Central Texas, but also in Arizona.
People keep coming back to Bush’s Chicken for their specials. Moreover, they have a Happy Hour from 02:00 p.m. until 05:00 p.m., from Monday through Sunday where all the drinks, including Bush’s Famous Iced Tea, are at a reduced cost. Also, the iced tea can be served by the gallon.

Brand History
The history of the Bush’s Chicken starts back in 1996 when the first restaurant was opened outside of Waco, Texas. It was founded by Charlene and Keith Bush. In 2005 this fast-food chain started franchising and moved its headquarters to Austin, Texas.

Corey Bush, who is the son of Charlene and Keith Bush, purchased three of the chain’s locations in 2011. In 2015, the headquarters moved back to Waco, after a change in ownership.
Nowadays, there are around 35 Bush’s Chicken restaurants in various areas of Texas and Arizona.
Our review
One of the most popular food items served at Bush’s Chicken is the chicken. This is juicy, tender, and well-seasoned. Moreover, the chicken skin is crispy and delicious. Also, the sides are mouthwatering and the sweet tea is great.
The top recommendations from the Bush’s Chicken menu are the tender and the fried chicken. As for the sides, you should definitely try the mashed potato and the okra. There is also a large variety of drinks that you would surely like the taste of.
You should expect to pay around $7 for the Tenders Individual Meal, while the cost of the Tenders Family Meals is anywhere between $20 and $40, depending on the number of tenders. If you would like to only purchase the tenders, you will have to pay around $7 for four tenders, $9 for six tenders, and $25 for twenty tenders. Chicken Individual meals are priced from $7 to $10, while for a Chicken Family Meal you will have to get $28 to $36 out of your pocket.
All the staff in the Bush’s Chicken restaurant is helpful and friendly. The waiters and the cashiers will get and serve your order pretty quickly and in case of any problems, you can always talk to the manager.
Bush’s Chicken restaurants are closed on some of the most important public holidays, but they remain open on other important holidays such as New Year’s Eve, Christmas Eve, Martin Luther King Jr.’s Day, Veteran’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Columbus Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Easter Monday, Cinco de Mayo, Easter Sunday, Good Friday, Mother’s Day, Mardi Gras Fat Tuesday, Father’s Day, New Year’s Eve, Labor Day, Black Friday and Halloween.
The overall atmosphere from the Bush’s Chicken restaurants is relaxing, the tables are always filled with condiments and kept clean. So, this is one of the best places for any family to go and dine in.
