Piqué started his soccer career playing for Manchester United’s team in 2004. It took a few years in which he only appeared only as a substitute and replaced injured players of the first team before his talent was noticed and properly exploited. Although he was offered a new contract due to his impressive games and overall performance, Real Zaragoza from the Spanish La Liga managed to lure him back to his home country. This only lasted for one season, before he returned to England, in 2007, where he continued to play for Manchester United.

Pique scored numerous goals for the Red Devils and became a very promising figure for the team, but eventually, 2008 brought the inevitable. Legal Issues
Gerard Piqué had some issues with the law in 2019 when he was exposed by the Spanish government for image rights. He allegedly tried to scam his way into paying fewer taxes by pretending to give over his image rights to a fraud company between 2008 and 2010.
