Brand history
Hook and Reel was founded in 2013 by Tony Wang. He opened the first restaurant in Lanham, Maryland and, as it was a real success, more locations were opened across the country in the following years. In 2018 the company expanded in Staten Island, New York.
Currently, there are opened 65 Hook and Reel locations in various states in the USA, including Utah, Colorado, Virginia, Florida, Washington DC, Texas, South California, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, New York, North Carolina, New Jersey, Missouri, Michigan, Illinois, Maryland, Kansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Idaho, and others.

Hook and Reel intends to offer its customers a New Orleans-like dining experience with popular favorites such as crawfish, shrimp, clams, mussels, oysters, crabs, lobsters, and other seafood items. Clients can further customize their order by choosing the spice level, sauce, and extras such as sausage, corn on the cob, boiled eggs, potatoes, or fries.
