Brand History

The history of Marco’s Pizza starts back in Italy, in the year 1966, when Pasquale “Pat” Giammarco, a little 9 years boy came to the United States as an immigrant. He spends his childhood working in his parent’s pizzeria in Dear Burn, Michigan. When he was 21 years old, in 1978, he opened his first pizza restaurant in Toledo, Ohio, known under the name Marco’s Pizza.

Thanks to its tasty food, the company grew in popularity and opened more stores in Midwest America. Even though Pat left Italy when he was only 9 years old, he never forgot the authentic tastes of his home country.

Since 2005 Marco’s Pizza is owned by Jack Butorac, who was involved in the company’s expansion. In order to ensure the company’s success, he created a team of managers with experience in the food industry.

Marco’s Pizza offers its customers high-quality food. They prepare the dough every day in-store and the cheese they use is never frozen. Also, the tomato sauce is made of three different types of vine tomatoes and imported spices. In addition, the meat respects all the quality standards.

But this freshness and quality come at a cost. You should expect to pay around $20 for a large 14-inch white cheese pizza and around $14 for a small 10-inch pizza. Some of the customers’ favorite flavors include Roma Meats, Chicken Florentine, Garden, and Hawaiian. Some other food items you can order at Marco’s Pizza include the sub sandwiches which cost anywhere between $7 and $10, chicken wings which are priced at $8 to $12, and salads which cost around $8 to $10.

As for the dessert, you can choose between S’Mores Brownies, Cinna Squares, or Double Chocolate Brownies. These cost around $5 to $7 each. Their beverages menu includes only Aquafina Water and soda which cost around $2 each.
