Brand history

Pizza Patron Menu ItemPizza Patron’s story starts back in 1986 with Antonio Swad, who is of Italian and Lebanese origin, and Bernadette Fiaschetti, who is of Irish and Italian origin. They opened their first restaurant in Texas, United States. Antonio Swad and Bernadette Fiaschetti also founded the Wingstop brand, which they sold in 2003 to focus on developing the Pizza Patron business.

In 2016 Pizza Patron was purchased by Charles Loflin, who is also the new CEO of the company.

In 2017 the company’s slogan was changed from “Mas Pizza. Menos Dinero” to “Pizza Like A Boss”.

Pizza Patron went through an entire brand relaunch in 2018 with the aim to appeal to a younger client base. They changed the logo to a more simplified version in Mandarin/teal red colors. Their logo features El Patron with a dashing mustache, who wears a fedora hat. Before that, the logo was represented only by the fedora hat.
