Financial problems?

The NBA is a Bermuda Triangle for some of its players. Accustomed to making a fortune relatively quickly from salaries, but also from lucrative advertising contracts, basketball players have no problem wasting them. Some do unprofitable business and are bad-advised, others simply spend left and right until their cards become useless.

Scottie Pippen seemed like a serious guy. He was Michael Jordan’s right-hand man at the Chicago Bulls. He was a smart player. As an investor, however, he did not shine. For example, he paid $4 million on a luxury jet that never got off the ground. Basically, Pippen blew the money. Unpromising investments, crazy expenses plus a lot of advisers who did nothing but cut his fortune also helped him lose most of his savings.

In 1988 Scottie Pippen married Karen McCollum, with whom he has a son, Antron, born in 1987. However, in 1990 they divorced.

Also, he has another two daughters, Taylor Pippen, born in 1994, with former Sonya Rob, and Sierra Pippen, born in 1995, with his former fiancée Yvette De Leon.

In 1997 he married Larsa Pippen, the Real Housewives of Miami star Larsa Younan. They have four children together, Scotty Jr. born in 2000, Preston born in 2002, Justin born in 2005, and Sophia born in 2008. In December 2021, the couple divorced after more than 20 years of marriage.
