Brand history
The history of The Habit Burger starts back in the 1960s. This restaurant was founded as a family-owned business and the first location was opened on November 15, 1969, in Santa Barbara County, California.
In 1980, the original location in Goleta was purchased by Bruce and Brent Reichard. In 1996 a second location was opened in Ventura, and the chain gradually grew to 24 locations in Southern California.

In 2007, The Habit Burger was bought by the private equity firm Karp Reilly, which started to quickly expand the chain, also franchising. Though, this sale didn’t include eight locations from Santa Barbara County, California, that remained under the ownership and management of Bruce and Brent Reichard.
By the year 2014, there more than one hundred The Habit Burger locations were opened. In that period The Habit Burger was one of the fastest-growing fast-food chains in the United States of America.

Their menu includes a wide range of food options so anyone can find something to eat. However, their burgers are clearly the best, meaty, and most delicious. Even the children, who are picky eaters, will love every meal in this restaurant.
It is recommended to try their Santa Barbara Cobb Salad, which is a combination of bacon, egg, and fresh vegetables. And the Charburger with cheese will complete your dining experience at The Habit Burger.
