The Biltmore House was built in the 1890s in Ashville, North Carolina as the private residence of George Vanderbilt. Nowadays, this is a very popular location for wedding celebrations with more than one million guests each year.

This French-Renaissance château offers many wedding celebration options and various prices.

How Much Does a Biltmore Estate Wedding Cost?

If you want to celebrate your wedding at Biltmore Estate, you should plan on spending anywhere between $5,500 and $26,000, depending on the location. According to their official website, this cost will not include the beverage and food minimums.

Biltmore offers many different wedding location options you can choose from and each of these comes at a different cost.

The package for the Champagne Cellar at the Winery is perfect for 30 guests but they won’t be able to dance. You will have to pay around $3,500 for this location, plus another $1,550 for the Butterfly Garden Ceremony. At this location, the beverage and food minimums are $3,300. The average cost for the wedding package for each person is $195.

The Conservatory Sitting Room and Butterfly Garden location is perfect for up to 56 people, but again, without dancing. You can add some additional services at each package such as fireworks, spa services, custom floral arrangements, private wine tastings, tent rentals, and/or a carriage ride.

Important things to consider

If you want to celebrate your wedding at Biltmore you will have to set up an appointment beforehand and meet with a catering sales manager to talk about all the details.

Each wedding package presented above will have a food and beverage minimum and these must be handled by the venue. Also, the venue must provide the alcohol beverages.

You will be required to pay a deposit that will make up the total amount of the facility fee and the food and beverage minimum. This has to be paid in two payments; the initial one is due when signing the contract and the final one is due 14 days before the wedding date.

How can I save money?

You may be able to save around $1,000 for the room rental if you choose to use the venue’s preferred caterer.
