Brand History

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers restaurant chain was founded in 2002 by the two brothers Randy and Bill Simon and their friend Scott Redler. The name of the restaurant comes from the name of Randy’s and Bill’s father, Freddy Simon. Their father was a great inspiration for this restaurant with all his large family dinners around the table and American homemade dishes.

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers restaurant was founded with the idea to make you feel at home and every one of their locations is designed in such a way that you will have the sensation that you have been transported to the late 40s or early 50s when the people had a simpler life. However, the white and red retro décor still maintains a modern feel. In order to cater to those good old-fashioned family meals, Fredy’s provides a range of tables and chairs, but also booths.

Freddy’s menu is all-American and includes a large variety of sandwiches, sundaes, hot dogs, drinks, Steakburgers, kid’s meals, frozen custards, and sides. The Steakburgers come in a large variety of tasty flavors such as Bacon and Cheese Double, Freddy’s Original, Double California, and Single. If you cannot decide what to order, you should try their Triple Steakburger California Style. The patties are well seasoned and are the customers’ favorite.

As for the sides, you can choose between onion rings, chicken tenders, and chili cheese fries. Also, the Freddy’s hot dogs are all beef and are served with a choice of tasty toppings and relished. Moreover, there is a great selection of half milkshakes, “Concrete” drinks, and half-frozen custards which come in flavors such as Hawaiian Delight and Chocolate Brownie.
