The chain’s 100th store was opened four years after the brand’s founding, in 1992. In 1995 their first international location was opened in Jakarta, Indonesia. The opening of their 1000th location in Fresno, California was celebrated in 2000.

Actually, Auntie Anne’s has become so popular among customers that they started to produce and sell a home baking mix to replicate the taste of their pretzels in your own kitchen.

Throughout time this company was involved in different charitable causes and in 2005 Joana and Anne even sold it in order to focus on opening a family counseling center. Though, the new owners stayed true to Auntie Anne’s core values and are still involved in charitable causes and offer freshly baked high-quality goods.

In order to make sure that the brand remains on top of their clients’ demands, the owners of Auntie Anne’s have made great changes in the last few years. For instance, they have introduced a large variety of new items to their menu. Moreover, in 2013 new food trucks were introduced that travel all over the United States and sell the Auntie Anne’s tasty pretzels. Also, in order to reward loyal customers, the “My Pretzel Perks” loyalty app was launched in 2014.

Nowadays there are more than 1,230 Auntie Anne’s locations all over the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia, and South Africa.
