Brand history

Honeygrow was founded in June 2012 by Justin Rosenberg. He opened his first restaurant in Philadelphia, at 16th and Sansom Streets. This business idea came into Rosenberg’s mind in 2009, while he was getting his MBA at Temple and working full-time.

In that period, he went vegan and discovered that there is a gap in this area, so he wanted to create a dynamic, colorful place with customizable options. Justin presented his business plan to 94 investors and only one gave him a chance. Miller Investment Management invested $25 million into Rosenberg’s idea.
