IMO’s Menu Prices
Imo’s Pizza is an American pizza restaurant chain with locations in three US states, Kansas, Illinois, and Missouri. They are best known for their version of St. Louis-style pizza, which is cut in squares and made with Provel cheese. This cheese is a combination of provolone, Swiss, and cheddar with a gooey texture and low melting point. Also, their menu includes submarine sandwiches, salads, and desserts.
The prices charged by this restaurant are a bit higher than those you can find at other national pizza restaurant chains. This is because Imo’s is more specialized and much smaller. But you can get a better idea about how much you should budget for a pizza at their locations by taking a look at the table below where you will find IMO’s pizza menu prices.

Brand history
Imo’s Pizza was founded in 1964, in St. Louis, in The Hill neighborhood by Ed Imo and his wife, Margie. The idea of opening their own restaurant came after years of collecting their takeaway meals every Friday from one of the many Italian restaurants near their house. Though, their idea was improved by delivering the food directly to the client’s house. This new business concept was revolutionary and quickly caught the attention of the locals.
The first Imo’s location had a small size and was open only during the evenings, and the clients had the option to collect and go or to order delivery. Imo’s became a family favorite very fast thanks to its delicious products, high-quality standards, and the efficiency of the founders.
As they didn’t have any experience in running a restaurant business, Ed and Margie hired a chef to help them perfect their recipes and offer their clients absolutely delicious products. Over the years, the recipes have been perfected with their great thin crust, packed-to-the-edge toppings, and mouthwatering provel cheese.
Also, Imo’s menu expanded to include desserts, sandwiches, appetizers, and pasta. Not only their product lineup developed over the years but also their fanbase. Soon, they were packing and sending their Provel Bites, St. Louis-style pizza, and Toasted Ravioli to their loyal clients all over the country.

By 1985 thirty restaurants were opened across the St. Louis area. That year the Imo family decided to start franchising. Even though many of the restaurants are independently owned and operated, they still adhere to Imo’s Pizza’s great service, food philosophy, and tasty pizza, delivered fresh and hot.
Imo’s Pizza was ranked the 32nd-largest pizza chain in the United States in 2015.
Currently, one hundred Imo’s Pizza restaurants are open around Kansas, Illinois, and Missouri.
Our review
Most of Imo’s Pizza restaurants are run only as delivery and collection point. However, there are some locations that offer a reduced amount of seating, like tables and chairs, and breakfast bars. Imo’s has a great ordering system available on their official website, in order to make the food ordering process more accessible and easier.
When talking about Imo’s Pizza’s signature items, they offer a large range, so every customer’s needs are met. First of all, you will have to pick up the size, which ranges from mini to extra-large, after that you should decide on the crust, which can be thin or thicker. Finally, you should decide on the toppings.
You should plan on spending around $12 for a small pizza, around $18 for a large one, and almost $30 for an extra-large pizza.
Besides their signature pizza, Imo’s Pizza offers also appetizers, salads, sandwiches, pastas, beverages, and desserts. Each food item is prepared fresh, in-store, on a daily basis, from high-quality ingredients.
