You can find La Venta Inn just outside of Los Angeles California, in the hills above the Palos Verdes Peninsula. It is among the more affordable wedding venue options you can find in Southern California. Its very beautiful restored Spanish villa, initially built in the 1920s, is known as offering the “best of California”.
This private estate still keeps an amazing, unforgettable vintage elegance and charm, being the first estate built on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, in 1923.
We managed to get in touch with the people in charge of La Venta Inn and this is their official statement:
Made by Meg is proud to continue the legacy of the historic La Venta Inn nestled in the hills of Palos Verdes Estates. La Venta Inn has enjoyed a full, rich history on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Nationally recognized as a California Point of Historical Interest, the Inn dates back to the early 1920s, when a group of international businessmen set out to develop the ‘ideal residential community.’ The landmark ocean view estate is a beautifully restored 1920s Spanish villa and used to entertain guests from the world over through exceptional weddings and events. We are thrilled to bring the delicious Made by Meg Catering cuisine and our incredible hospitality to this one-of-a-kind property.
They also wanted to shed some light on the average costs you should expect when booking their place for an event. As it turns out, the La Venta Inn venue wedding cost can be as low as $1,500 for weekday events, and anywhere from $7,500 to $14,000 during the weekend, depending on the day, time, and season of the event. As for the catering fee, the average price is somewhere around $175 per person, depending on the menu you go for.

How much does a La Venta Inn wedding cost?
While browsing the main site, we weren’t able to find any details about the official prices and discounts; instead, they asked interested couples to contact them through the online contact form on the website. On this form, they ask for the preferred wedding date, the visitor number, how you found out about them, and some more information information about the event itself. Just like many wedding event places, the number of visitors and the time of year/day of the week will all impact your final price quote.
Wedding-Spot noted that a rental for exclusive usage can be as low as $3,500, depending upon the day, time, and season of the wedding event, whereas the food and ceremony for the wedding celebration, which is provided by the location, could be priced at anywhere from $176 to $274 per individual in total, all depending upon your menu setup. Once again, like any wedding event location, adding a full premium open bar might cost far more than a non-alcohol wedding event with a buffet-like food setup.
HereComestheGuide, on the other hand, approximates $4,000 to $10,000 per event, with meals starting at $70 per individual when priced separately and drinks costing at least $16 per individual. The event expense is claimed to be about $2,250 per event.
|Category||Item||Price (Increased by 10%)|
|Food||Meals||$77 to $165+ per guest|
|Drink Options||Non-alcoholic beverage package||$17.60+ per guest|
|BYO beverage package||$23.10+ per guest|
|Hosted beverage package||$40.70+ per guest|
How did we get these quotes? While doing our research, we integrated third-party resources, as pointed out above, along with a couple of quotes received over the phone, and made an average. Keep in mind, this is just an estimate. To get an exact quote, please get in touch with the locations through the contact form or by phone for more details and specific costs.
