Rally’s is an American fast-food restaurant chain that is well-known for its unique double drive-through lanes. Their menu focuses mainly on burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, and milkshakes. Rally’s is famous among the customers for its seasoned fries that are not like those served in other fast-food restaurants.

Brand History

Rally’s restaurant was founded in 1985 by Jim Patterson in Louisville, Kentucky. During 1991 and 1992, Rally’s purchased Zipp’s drive-Thru, Snapps Drive-Thru, and Maxie’s of America.

CKE Restaurants, the parent company of Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. bought Rally’s in 1996. Three years later, in 1999 CKE company sold Rally’s to Checkers. Immediately Checkers merged Rally’s into its branding and these two chains became the same, the only difference being the name. However, in California and in the Midwest the Rally’s name is used while in the Southeast and in the Northeast the Checkers name is used.

The company went private through a merger with the private equity firm Taxi Holdings Corp. in 2006. In 2017, Checkers was bought by the Oak Hill Capital Partners for $525 million.

Nowadays, there are 317 Rally’s locations in the United States of America in states such as Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Our review

The Rally’s menu does not include just tasty burgers and sandwiches, but also a great variety of side options. The customers’ favorites are the gooey, warm “Monsterella Stix” and the flavorful seasoned fries. Their famous seasoned fries cost anywhere between $3 and $7, depending on size.

Rally’s combo meals include fries and a drink at the cost of anywhere between $7 and $12. For the Classic Wings you will have to pay anywhere between $10 and $35, depending on how many pieces you order. These are available in garlic parmesan, medium Buffalo, angry Buffalo, Asian kick, and honey BBQ.

For a milkshake, you should be prepared to spend anywhere between $2 and $6. Some of the flavors include Oreo raspberry, strawberry, banana, chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry cheesecake.

Rally’s offers its customers a Kid’s menu as well, which includes chicken bites, hot dogs, cheeseburgers, and hamburgers. These food items cost around $5 each.

As for the dessert you can choose between Cinnamon Apple Pie, Loaded Strawberry Funnel Cake, and Classic Funnel Cake. Each of these comes at the price of anywhere between $2 and $4.

The majority of the Rally’s locations don’t have an inside seating area where you can eat, so you have to place your order at one of the two drive-thru lanes or just go to the walk-up counter and say what you would like to eat. However, at some locations, you can find outside patio tables and benches.

You will not have to worry about the waiting times because these double drive-thru lanes are specially made to serve the clients as soon and well as possible.
