The Ridglea Country Club is a private country club located in Fort Worth, Texas, that was founded in 1954.

This club is situated on the property that was bought by Clayton Luther and his group, who intended to create the best country club in the Forth Worth area from that period of time. This is the only country club in the Forth Worth area that has two golf courses.

Types of Membership

Athletic

With the Athletic membership, you don’t have the right to vote, but you have the right to sponsor new members. Also, you will not have golf privileges with this membership.

Resident

With this type of membership, you will have access to all club benefits and amenities. The Resident membership offers you the right to sponsor new members, vote, and also to hold off on the Board of Directors.

Legacy

This membership option is designed for the immediate family members of the actual members. The initiation fee for this membership is reduced.

Non-Resident

You can choose the Non-Resident membership option if you are living outside of the Texas counties of Denton, Tarrant, Wise, Dallas, Ellis, Collin, Somerville, Johnson, Hood, or Parker. This membership type also offers voting rights.

Junior

If you are younger than 35 years old, the Junior membership is for you. This option offers the same privileges as the Non-Resident and Resident memberships.

Resident-Firm

This corporate membership is made for companies and their employees. Also, this option offers the same privileges as the Non-Resident and Resident memberships.

Ridglea Country Club Amenities

The Ridglea CC offers its members two golf course options such as the Champion Course and the Family Course. Both of these courses are equipped with an indoor teaching facility, a short game area, and a driving race. Also, at each of these courses, you will find a fully stocked pro shop.

Besides the golf practice facilities and the champion golf courses, the Ridglea Country Club offers a 130,000-square foot clubhouse with card rooms and a locker, eleven lighted tennis courts, a kids club, a fitness center, and two swimming pools.

Also, the club offers dining options that include the 19^th Hole restaurant, with lunch and dinner options, and the Family Grill restaurant, which is a casual, fast-paced dining place. They both are open during the whole year.

You can also organize a large event at the Ridglea CC as their Ballroom can accommodate up to 1,100 people. For smaller private events such as receptions, business meetings, or private dinners, there is the Wine Room which has a capacity of 12 guests.

According to their official website, the Ridglea Golf Club has around 1,600 members and is the largest member-owned club in the Texas area.
