Brand history

Yogurtland doesn’t have such a long history. It was founded in February 2006 by Philip Chang and his wife Michelle. Their first location was opened in Fullerton, California, and was a pioneer in giving customers the opportunity to customize their toppings and flavors and adding fresh fruit to the toppings bar. Over time, Yogurtland has expanded all over the world, and at one point or another, they had locations in Thailand, Venezuela, Indonesia, Australia, Singapore, Guam, Oman, and United Arab Emirates.

Yogurtland partnered with Candy Crush and Kung Fu Panda in 2016 and distributed collectible spoons of the various icons or characters to be released every week. Also, they released specific flavors related to this partnership.

In March 2020 Yogurtland temporarily suspended its indoor dining due to the global pandemic. But they expanded their digital offering through delivery and carryout.

Yogurtland offers up to 16 yogurt flavors in rotation at any time. Also, different toppings are available like fresh-cut fruits, nuts, chocolate bits, cookies, gummies, granola, and different sauces. “Featured flavors” such as Dulce de Leche, pistachio, and cake batter are available, as well.

Clients are allowed to combine and mix flavors in their cups by pulling on handles that control the yogurt machines. In general, Yogurtland offers a wide range of dietary items in its flavor options including vegan, dairy-free, non-fat, low-fat, and sugar-free.
