Brand History

The history of Bill Miller Bar-B-Q starts back in 1950 with a $500 loan for a business idea. That year Ila Faye Miller and William T. “Bill” Miller founded an egg and poultry delivery business. In 1953 Bill Miller expanded the business into a fried chicken take-out restaurant. This is the year when Bill Miller Bar-B-Q restaurant was officially founded.

Over time Bill Miller Bar-B-Q included hamburgers into its menu and eventually transformed into a barbecue restaurant. In February 1963 the second Bill Miller Bar-B-Q restaurant was opened.

At the beginning of the 1950s, Bill Miller Bar-B-Q was one of the first restaurants that offered quality food to go in just five minutes, which was something absolutely new at that time.
