Wahlburgers is a casual dining burger restaurant and bar chain with locations in the United States of America, Canada, Germany, and Australia. Their signature dishes are obviously the burgers and some of these include the Thanksgiving Turkey Burger, the Our Burger, and the BBQ Bacon Burger.

Brand History

The first Wahlburgers restaurant was opened in 2011, in Hingham, Massachusetts by Paul Wahlberg and his two actor brothers Donnie and Mark. Before opening Wahlburgers Paul’s family was running another restaurant, Alam Nove.

The restaurant was very successful and because of it in 2014 a reality television series called Wahlburgers was launched on A&E.

Nowadays, there are 50 Wahlburgers restaurants located in the United States of America, Canada, Australia, and Germany. There are expanding plans in New Zeeland, and previously there was a location in London as well. Moreover, in 2017 Wahlburgers made a partnership with the Cachet Hospitality Group and Farooq Arjomand businessman in order to open 100 more locations in China. However, this deal fell through later.

This restaurant has been awarded the best new restaurant in Boston and the highest-rated burger concept awards.

Our review

If you are not thinking too much about the prices, because these are a little high compared with the competitors, the burgers are really tasty. But their menu also includes salads, Wahlfaves such as Portobello Mushroom Cap, Almas Favorite Chicken or Crispy Haddock, and desserts.

Wahlburgers signature dishes include Mom’s Sloppy Joe, seared chicken, crispy haddock, tater tots, thin crispy onion rings, floats, and thick creamy frappes.

Your experience at Wahlburgers will be influenced by the place where you are sitting. For instance, if you choose to sit at a regular table you will dine in a more private atmosphere, while the bar is usually packed with clients.

This restaurant is opened every day for lunch and dinner and offers a full-service bar, full-service dining, counter service, and take-out.

If you feel like eating some nice thick tender juicy meat it is recommended to order their The Beast and if you like spicy food you should order the Fiesta Burger.

The most unpleasant thing about Wahlburgers is the wait time. This tends to be too long but depends on the location and the number of customers that are waiting in line.
